GammaShield Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Mobile Barrier
Lead Barrier Shield Non-Metallic Non-Magnetic
Designed as a mobile radiation barrier to be used for any imaging procedures utilising ionising radiation and nonionising (X-Ray). It is specifically designed for PET-MRI, I-131 & lr-192 but suits other Nuclear Medicine applications. The advantage over other barrier shields in the market is thenonmagnetic construction properties.
CONSTRUCTION
By introducing 100mm diameter high-grade caster wheels, we have made the make the movement of the Gammashield effortless, while still supporting the weight of the lead. The design features a close to the floor panel, increasing the effectiveness of the shield and lowering the centre of gravity to further improve mobility. The barrier includes a laminated finish, making it easy for cleaning.
