The I-131 Cat Capsule, designed by Globalsonics in early 2000 has been successfully used by veterinary clinics across Australia.

Combining a transport cage and Hyperbaric chamber, it ensures safety, comfort, and effective management of radioactive treatments while meeting the highest safety standards.

I-131 Cat Capsule in hot lab with built-in radiation level detector, waste disposal system, air circulation fans, rotating tray, and oxygen port for hyperbaric treatment.

System Features Include 

  • A built-in detector for monitoring radiation levels in waste, ensuring safe disposal when levels are met.

  • Features two fans for optimized air circulation within the system.

  • Equipped with a rotating platform that holds two waste disposal containers. 

  • Mirrors and integrated lighting for visual monitoring. 

  • Includes food and water containers for care.

  • A rotating tray for cat litter to reduce contamination and exposure during disposal.

  • Oxygen port for Hyperbaric treatment.
