Whether isotope arrives daily in a lead PIG or weekly in the form of a generator, technologists are often expected to transfer and position heavy loads onto the benchtop.
Enhancing mobility when transferring shielded items in the hot lab introduces flexibility to the workflow of technologists. What is more, the unit is battery operated and made from aluminium to further reduce weight.
The design boasts a multi-step actuator and a retractable arm to enable compact storage when not in use.
