This is far better in technology to TLD, Glass crystal, OSL and film type dosimeters because you can read accumulated dose at any time without require machine reading.
The KOKA-II ONE is designed to detect the presence of ionising radiation and estimate the values of the ambient dose-equivalent, the ambient equivalent of photon (gamma and X-ray) ionising radiation dose rate.
