Austral‑Rad MCA

Part No. G-401

Description:

Handheld multi-channel analyser with nuclide ID, dose-rate, and survey functions — docks to a wall cradle for area monitor use and doubles as a personal dosimeter.

The AustralRAD MCA is a compact, multi-radiation instrument that identifies radionuclides, measures dose rate, and supports source search and routine inspections. It integrates a scintillation detector with a silicon PMT, Bluetooth app connectivity, continuous spectrum stabilisation, and an upgradable nuclide library. With the wall-mounted charging cradle it operates as a fixed area monitor; worn on-person it functions as a personal dosimeter (gamma). System kit includes the main unit, cradle, power/cables, and AustralRAD software.

Compatible Probes / Accessories

  • Pancake probe (alpha/beta/low-gamma)
  • End-window/“Le Torch” external detector
