The AustralRAD Mini is an all-in-one solution for radiation detection and measurement, providing versatility and powerful functionality. The device’s versatility allows it to function as an area monitor, survey meter (for gamma only), contamination meter, and personal dosimeter (for gamma only). How It Works

The AustralRAD Mini’s internal GM detector detects gamma and X-rays. Its powerful processor allows for real-time data collection, which can be stored and analysed later. The system is built for easy use, featuring a backlit LCD display and a user-friendly interface. Alarm thresholds and radiation units can be set directly on the device or via the software. For enhanced nuclear medicine workflow, the AustralRAD Mini can be connected to various external probes to change its application.

Probes and Accessories

The AustralRAD Mini’s versatility comes from its ability to be used with a variety of optional probes and accessories, which transform its application.

• Pancake Probe Detector: Ideal for monitoring large area spills, this detector can be used for the measurement of alpha, beta, gamma, and x-ray. It can also be used as a contamination detector for nuclear medicine applications.

• Le Torch External Detector: Ideal for monitoring large area spills, this detector can be used for the measurement of alpha, beta, gamma & x-ray.

• Contamination Monitor: When connected to a Pancake, End Window or Scintillator Probe, the AustralRAD Mini can be used as a contamination detector.

• Teledetector Probe: A telescopic rod that extends up to 4 meters, offering more security and enabling distant measurements.

• Toxic Gas Detector: An accessory that allows the unit to measure for toxic gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and chlorine. Other sensors are also available.
