Description:

The NEMO ONE ROV is a compact, nuclear inspection ROV engineered to meet the imperative need for submerged pipe inspections in aging nuclear reactors. This device is designed and made in Australia, finished in IAEA-certified radiation yellow, and is equipped for navigation in hazardous, confined nuclear environments.

The NEMO ONE ROV is a versatile and lightweight (5kg) submerged pipe inspection solution. It is powered by C.NEMO IMU Tech, providing real-time 3D orientation, depth, and temperature sensing for next-level navigation accuracy. This compact nuclear inspector is equipped with real-time gamma and X-ray radiation detection. The device also includes a manipulator arm and full 3-axis motion sensing. With a 50m operating depth, an HD camera with lighting, and MCA integration, the NEMO ONE ROV provides comprehensive data for critical inspections.

 

How It Works

The NEMO ONE ROV utilizes its C.NEMO Directionality Platform, which includes a Gyroscope, Accelerometer, and Magnetometer, for 6.7KHz orientation sensing of pitch, roll, tilt, and heading. This technology allows for precise navigation in complex and confined spaces, ensuring accurate data collection from hard-to-reach areas. The on-board HD camera and lighting provide clear visuals, while the real-time radiation detection feeds data to the operator. The entire unit is designed to be lightweight and field-ready for rapid deployment.
